Waterfowl hunting is permitted on Lake Texana through the Waterfowl Management Hunting Program. Four (4) areas below SH 111 and five (5) areas above US 59 have been designated for duck hunting during the waterfowl season as designated by Texas Parks and Wildlife. These waterfowl hunting areas are available on a lease basis only. Area selection will be based on a draw system and is only open to Jackson County residents.
